Privacy
Short version: the 3D lab collects nothing about you. The written tutorials (pages under /learn/) show ads from Google, which keep Learn Arduino free.
What we collect
Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking and no cookies from us. We do not ask for your name, your email, your location, your camera or your microphone.
Ads on the tutorials
The tutorial pages (learnarduino.tech/learn/…) show ads served by Google AdSense. The 3D lab (building, the projects, the components, your code) never shows ads and never loads any ad code.
- We ask Google for non-personalized ads only: ads chosen from the page you are reading, not from a profile of you. Many of our readers are students.
- Google and its partners may still use cookies or similar storage on those pages — for example to limit how often you see the same ad, to count ads and to stop fraud. Where the law requires it (such as in the EU and the UK), Google asks for your consent first.
- We do not receive any information about you from these ads. How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
What stays on your device
- Your builds (the parts, wires and code you make), your chosen theme, and whether sound is on — saved in your browser or app storage so they are there next time.
- A copy of the compiler files, kept so that the app can compile your code offline after the first visit.
- Which tutorials you marked as done — only so the tutorials page can show your progress.
This stays on your device. We never receive it. You can remove it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser, or by uninstalling the app.
Network
The 3D lab only downloads its own files (the page, the 3D parts and the compiler) from the server it comes from. Your code is compiled on your own device — it is never sent anywhere. We do not keep logs of visitors.
The company that delivers the files (our hosting provider) may keep the short-lived technical records any web host keeps for security. We cannot see who you are from them, and we do not use them.
Children
We collect nothing, and the ads on the tutorials are non-personalized, so Learn Arduino is suitable for learners of any age. We recommend that young learners have a grown-up nearby when they move from the app to real electronics.
Changes and questions
If this ever changes, this page will say so before the change takes effect. Questions: open an issue at github.com/ajeetjain94608/avr-toolchain-wasm/issues.
